Summary

This is the story of a family with two young children. Their mother has suddenly lost her superpower. What now?

This picture book is written for parents who need a liver or kidney transplant. The booklet is a tool to talk to young children about what is happening in a family during these suspenseful and uncertain times. This way you can use this story to tell your child about your own situation.

This is the German translation of 'SuperBo & SuperTom: de verloren kracht'.

The story was written and illustrated by Esther Scheide. She received a new liver in 2019. Her children Tom and Bo were two and four years old at the time.

Your own booklet

The hardcover makes the book easy for the child to hold and stays firmly in your bookcase.

At the back of the booklet there are a number of pages with only lines to write down together how your SuperStory is going. There is also a page where you can paste a photo of your SuperFamily. This way you can personalize your own book with the child and make it even more yours.
